This is story of three women who served as postmasters at Adams Camp in the Nez Perce National Forest wilderness of Idaho County, Idaho from 1900 through 1918. The post office was closed and relocated to a nearby city in 1918. Included are the genealogical backgrounds of the women including one with five husbands over time, who ran the Adams Camp road house post office for 12 years and was known for her excellent cooking. The history of the Camp is detailed including its postal history.
